COSTAS VERDES
Costas Verdes is an organization dedicated to the preservation and restoration of coastal ecosystems in Nosara and beyond. Their tireless efforts focus on the conservation of our precious coastal areas, ensuring their sustainability and promoting biodiversity.
Through our help we aim at helping them implement:

BOMBEROS DE NOSARA
Bomberos de Nosara is a volunteer fire department that since 2009 helps ensure timely emergency services for the community. Over a decade since their formation, these volunteers have saved countless homes, lives, and livelihoods, and evolved into an indispensable, and highly utilized community resource. They remain on call night and day to be wherever needed at a moment’s notice.
Nosara Civic Association · NCA
The Nosara Civic Association (NCA) is committed to sustainable development and environmental protection in Nosara. Founded between 1969 and 1972, the NCA began by providing essential services like water, electricity, and security.
Over the years, the NCA has donated land to the Ostional Refuge, helped open key local facilities, and promoted recycling education. Our mission has expanded to include the entire Nosara District, leading initiatives such as closing the local garbage dump and starting municipal garbage collection.
Today, with over 200 members, the NCA supports local NGOs through Friends of Nosara and leads projects like "Calle Modelo" to renovate Guiones Main Street. Join us in preserving Nosara's unique environment and fostering a sustainable future.
NOSARA RECICLA
Nosara Recicla’s goal is to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of the area through the introduction of sustainable and modern waste management practices, as well as educating the community and residents of surrounding areas about the importance of their participation in waste management for the conservation and protection of the health and the beauty of our environment.
